Fair enough, maybe they just have a particularly patronising online contingent but I see so many comments like that since he started scoring for them.

Football fans forums of any particular national team/club side will always have fickle fans. We're no different on here tbh. |

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

I agree with DM above. I have seen nothing but praise for Idah. Celtic fans have been extremely critical of the board and the signings because they are penny pinching and have brought in a large number of mediocre players who are just not really good enough.

Agree that Celtic fans (myself included) have been very impressed with idah and hope he is signed permanently.
There was scepticism at the start, given that he was seen as Norwich's 3rd choice striker. On the back of all the cheap skate signings in the summer, the fans were underwhelmed when the loan was announced. However everyone has been won over by his performances and goals.

I've heard the exact opposite from any I know. They seem to really like him.

Maybe it's just some of the Celtic fans I see, glad it's a minority then.

Where have you seen/heard this? I saw a poll on a Celtic forum the other day re:Idah and the majority of fans want to see him get signed. I doubt anyone was complaining last Sunday either. So much sh*te talked about Celtic in Irish forums these days.

The majority? That's great. Hopefully had something to do with 7 goals in 10 games.

not following closely but doesn't seem to be getting any more game time than he was getting at Norwich?

By my math, he played just over 200 mins at Norwich in January, and that was it. Has played close to 800 mins at Celtic in the last two months; he’s featured in all 15 games since he’s arrived at Parkhead.

5m price tag from Norwich.
I would expect Celtic to pay it - then again, considering how f**king stingey they are maybe not.

He looked sharp when he came on for the last 15 minutes today, he definitely has the pace and power to cause defenders trouble, and his strength is in behind (he's not a great hold up player in my opinion).
But a couple of times he got in behind today, he took the wrong option. I don't know if decision making is something a player can improve on or be coached in, but it's something he definitely needs to improve on.

I thought Idah was very poor in the Old Firm derby today, unfortunately.
2 chances on the six yard line, one unchallenged, that he failed to convert. A 1-on-1 with the keeper he couldn't score. Wasn't punished today because Rangers are so poor. On a different day, that's the losing of the game. His all-round game *can* be good, but his inability to convert relatively straight-forward chances costs his team.

Well done to Adam and Liam Scales on winning the title. Good to see Adam get the first goal tonight too and looked generally dangerous on the highlights. Obviously the standard is poor but a decent loan move all in all now for him.

Nothing wrong with his performance tonight. All in all he’s had a good loan and has enhanced his reputation.
Interesting to see what happens if Norwich were to go up let’s say. Wouldn’t mind him going back to Celtic and I am gonna geuss Idah will want to go back too.
