Good man ZK you know me and murph too well Boston - haven't been will likely never make it Chicago - spent a few days in it really enjoyed it Las Vegas - No desire whatsoever to see, likely full of w**kers/ depeche mode fans Los Angeles - see above New York - had 3 days loved it was planning to go back but Miami - see Las Vegas and add in Brits San Francisco - never been likely headed there this summer for a few days |

Chicago is definitely my favourite City - Have been there a lot and love the place.
I love Vegas also - You can't really compare it to any other US city as it is so different and unique.

For me well all said and done if I had money I would live in SF but hey that will never happen but do love the city I must say , like all cities there are good and bad areas but the West Coast vibe is so much better than the East Coast as people are way more relaxed .

Boston - Nice place, small and easy to get round.
Chicago - A friendlier New York. Brilliant place, lovely city Las Vegas - I absolutely hated my three days there. It's definitely a stag/McGregor/Boxing trip location. I was with the wife and thought there was just something very tacky about the whole place. Maybe I wasn't drunk enough! Los Angeles - The city itself is a bit of a dump. The areas around it are lovely though. Santa Monica is beautiful, I would live there tomorrow if I could. The coast road up to San Francisco is brilliant as well. New York - What a city, love everything about it, great bars, shopping and restaurants. Even the annoying things like not having a countdown to the next train on the subway are fun over there. Miami - Never been San Francisco - Liked it, cool place, lots to see. Cycling over the bridge into Sausalito is great fun and the national parks around it and going to Alcatraz are very good too. Bit nippy at times |

Whoa, whoa, whoa there speed racer. I won't have anything bad said about the Lou! Was my home for 2 years and a great spot if you could avoid being murdered! Chicago is a cracking city, Miami is great for a few days but becomes pointless after a while if yo aren't a high roller. Can't believe Nashville hasn't been mentioned. By far and away my favourite spot

Monells Ive seen most of the big cities due to work and travels as I was out there for 7 months I done a fair amount of traveling. Cities I like San Francisco, NYC, Las Vegas, San Diego, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Diego (the old town mainly it's mini Mexico, the city centre isn't great) Nashville, Memphis, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin. Denver (spent Christmas here while in the US, rented a cabin out brilliant experience) Honolulu is quite amazing, Miami is grand for a few days also if you're doing the keys. I don't understand the hatred of Las Vegas, what did you expect? It's casinos and shopping malls and the Grand Canyon. I like Vegas personally the Venetian for example is unreal, the square in the middle of the hotel is stunning, the heat is insane however first time I was there was middle of July and arrived from New York I remember the dryer feeling and slot machines in the airport well Dislike Washington (I liked Georgetown though), Orlando outside of Disney it's a dump, Tampa shocking, LA (Bar Santa Monica) Philly is rough but nothing compared to Detroit or Oakland dear god I lived in Phoenix, Scottsdale is lovely Phoenix itself isn't great warm all year though. Atlanta is soulless as is Baltimore. If I had to live in one tomorrow I'd go for San Francisco, Honolulu or New York State, I hope to do that one day. I adore the USA, luckily I see a lot of it but I don't think anywhere compares in the world. Edited by SByrne24 - 07 Dec 2016 at 1:20am |

San Francisco - number one for me New Orleans - brilliant, loved it, before the deluge New York - lived there loved it Boston - grand if you're not American which is great Philly - rough yes but I liked it Atlanta - racist and segregated but good party town, nearly shot twice Dallas - it's ok, loved the girls' accents Orlando - sh*thole, nearly shot Baltimore - sh*thole Washington - boring Newark - Apocalype Now LA - sh*thole outside the beaches and Universal Vegas - no problem with the casinos its the trailer trash Richmond - is nice Hartford - hellhole, nearly shot in bus station As USA is 50 states, give me Europe's 50 states every day of the week.

Boston: Was there in Dec 07 during the North American winter storms. Never experienced anything like being in the middle of a city during a heavy snow storm with hardly any visibility. You wouldn't even think you were in a city. Lovely city and nice little narrow streets. Absolutely loved the place.
LA: Hated the place.Been there twice. Was sh*tting myself going through Watts and East LA and myself and the mot being the only white people that seemed to use the public transport buses. Chicago: Nice city. Hands were going numb with that icy wind off the lake mind. San Francisco. Loved the spot. Cleveland: Nothing much to it. Not a tourist destination in fairness. Miami. Stayed on Miami Beach. Nice enough spot. New York: No other city comes close. Best city I've ever been in. Would love to live there.

Its extraordinary, you could see it was once a great City, but when I was in SL it was just depressing, and slow moving. However, it was a stopover on the way to Nashville, which was an absolute blast!

Actually New'Awlins aswell.
Outside a brothel, told the homie to fcuk off. Atlanta was a taxi driver with a .357, Orlando was a turf war. Hartford was scary as it was during the day, real Welcome to the Jungle stuff. Got on the Greyhound and got da fcuk out. Good times. |
