I'd take Nathan Redmond* alright Mark Noble has made up his mind.

I know he only played 1 game for England in a friendly so he would still be eligible and he'd be a good right wing option to have

Has to be good news in fact. If there was any issue at all with Rice and O'Neill or Keane, he'd be crazy to commit to England at the moment, not without seeing who the new Irish manager was and perhaps meeting him.

Hopefully true. Imagine Noel King trying to convince him...
West ‘am legend Big Sam would have Rice playing for the Eire in no time.

Half said in jest? Because i agree with you.

Half joking. Sam could probably get us the likes of Mark Noble (would we want him?), Nathan Redmond etc.

I don’t know how comfortable a lot of us would be with him selling us as England B ala Jack.

I don't think results matter to be honest. We are no shape, no identity and a terrible manager. Southgate is playing to his strengths, if you're decent and playing then he will have a look at you.

MON doesn't care if you play for a club, doesn't care how good you are and certainly isn't going to be held to ransom by a teenager so everything is better suited for England.

However, as already said I'm sure he feels something for us and I think that will be clear when contract is announced.

LOL

if he really feels irish it would not matter how terrible we are. surely it would make him want to make us better.

Alas he is on the fence and we are absolutely diabolical and Martin o Neill will have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the role by men in white coats. its done
