Sorry if this has been asked already.
I looked up the trains to la rochelle from bordeaux on the Friday morning and there's a few available from around 15 euro but the last one back leaves la rochelle at around 19:45. The next one is at 5 the next morning. Is there any other way of getting back to bordeaux on Friday night bar an arm and a leg for a taxi? I couldn't see any bus services on the Internet. Would it be much hassle to organise a mini bus or even a coach if there was enough people interested or has anyone gone down that route already? Thanks

Yeah, and I'll miss the f***ing Ireland match on the Saturday after I fall asleep on the 5am train back to bordeaux and end up in Nice or somewhere like that! It's happened me before, woke up in broadstone bus depot after getting a nightlink a couple of times.

Is there a paypal account we can use to make a donation to the charities involved? I won't be in La Rochelle myself but would like to give a few quid.
A great initiative, and well done to all who organised it. |
