Don’t think so. If they are on the beg to the government for a new stadium
None of these billion dollar clubs should be getting government funded stadiums and if they do a large portion of tickets should be sold cheaper and to Manchester residents.

It looks like Sir Jim and his crew are looking to build a new stadium as opposed to refurbish OT. I’ve been to a good few new grounds and they are all as rubbish as each other.

It’s not only a stadium, it’s a regeneration of an entire area of Salford quays and Trafford. makes absolute sense for the government to invest in the area. It’s not like they’re just going to donate money to United to build a football stadium LOL

If United appointed someone like Glasner he probably wouldn’t be able to get them playing the way he has Palace playing.
Seems to be a problem at the club deeper than the manager. They haven’t looked well coached in 11 years despite trying 5 or 6 managers

Ten Hag needs to go and needs to go now. Not at the end of the season.

When is the last time United finished with a negative goal difference ? One of the biggest clubs in the world finishing a season on minus goals is unbelievable.

Palace are a very good side now. I knew they would beat United.

Anyone.

You can't justify keeping ten Hag on after this season. It's actually been awful for over a year now. United haven't played well since winning The League Cup. That's over 14 months ago.

He'd have been sacked at Real, Barcelona or Bayern for losing 7-0 vs Liverpool.

United will eventually land on a manager who gets it right.

It took United over 16 years and 5 managers + a Busby interim spell before landing on Fergie.

Liverpool went through 7 managers between Dalglish leaving and hiring Klopp. It took almost 25 years.

ten Hag hasn't adapted to The Premier League. Too many questionable transfers also.

Fully agree. His loyalty to certain players is mind boggling at times. Back at the start of the season even, Onana, was given chance after chance after chance and it ultimately ended with him single handedly being responsible for their Champions League exit. Casemiro, Wan Bissaka, Antony, Eriksen all well below par and yet all remain involved each week. Granted their are injuries but you can't tell me there isn't a kid in the Academy who can be any worse than the crap we've witnessed in particular in recent weeks from some of these lads.

I’m even more convinced of that now after last nights result. It would be typical of United to do that. Arsenal have only won there 4 times since football was invented.

Arsenal will tear that team that started last night apart.
Depends who United would have back available whether they'd have a chance of nicking a result, but really can't see it

They have looked well coached under certain managers for periods of time but something invariably goes wrong - most commonly, recruitment.

This is the worst they have ever been, consistently. These issues have been visible since game one vs Wolves when they should have been beaten by a side with a manager in place for 4 days, who turned up and comprehensively out played, out thought Ten Hag who had a full pre season and obviously the previous season too.

You'd assume getting the proper structures in behind the scenes should help the next manager because it surely cannot be Ten Hag who has spent a season persisting with quite possibly the must self sabotaging, delusional tactical set up I've ever seen in my lifetime watching football.

Is there a manager who has overseen a worse set of transfers in Premier League history?

With the sums of money involved (and obvious total control over who was purchased) Ten Hag is in a league of his own.

This Arsenal team are mentally tough. They're in the groove.

They were unlucky to lose at Old Trafford early last season. Time to right that wrong.

United often get undeserved results under ten Hag though. A draw isn't impossible. Just unlikely.

I can't actually see United winning a game for the rest of the season. Maybe a few draws.
