Yeah its great news. They were thinking about having it in Japan There a 4 60,000+ stadia being used and they may even use the olympic stadium as well

They're having the subsequent World Cup in 2019 in Japan, that was always going to be the arrangement - the IRB are v.predictable!
As regards to playing matches in Ireland, won't happen. There were matches all about the place when the Welsh hosted it in 1999 because they didn't have the stadia for it, but England are well and truely equipped for the event. Its not v.fair either IMO for the fans who come over from SA, NZ and Aus for the world cup if they then have to start shelling out for flights to and from Ireland

We are only across the water. If the world cup was in America they would have to fly all over the country, much further than what it would take to travel to Ireland. It would be nice if we played some games in Ireland but it is not a problem if we don't.
Wales played some group games in the millennium for the last world cup and I believe it'll be the same for the 2015. They get it very handy with that stadium of theirs!
