In general this is good advice. It takes more time than you'd expect to negotiate airports, public transport etc. Flights can also be delayed etc.

Just a heads up. The kick off times for the Republic of Ireland men's UEFA Nations League games v England are not finalised. They may move on police advice. Please bear in mind when booking travel. |

I know it's 6 months away but I presume fans will be gathering around the city centre.
Waxy O'Connor's & O'Neill's in Soho look like good spots

People will be spread all over. The last time a big group went to Hennesseys in Kingsbury but that is now closed. Given there are plenty of options nearer to Wembley I imagine many drink out that areas as opposed to central London especially if the kick off is an early one.

Yeah staying in central London so will probably just stay in the city the sat night and out towards Wembley before and after the game.
In saying that if the met and the gardai have their way you'll be doing well to get a drink before either game if it's a 1pm kick off

It City and Chelsea can kick off at 5pm in Wembley absolutely no reason why our game should be changed

The FA wanted to have this year's FA cup final at 5.30pm - Cops said no. The Football League wanted a 4pm kick off for the League Cup final - Cops said no. So, I think there is more than a fair chance that our game gets moved.
