It is a pity he didn't play more this season as he definitely offers us more in midfield footballing wise than a lot of the players in the squad. He could easily have gone out on loan though. He decided not to. Also, outside of the off the pitch stuff, he still looks unfit. That should never be the case even if he isn't playing regularly. He's feckin paid enough to keep himself in top condition. He would have been a certainty for the squad - the only reasons he isn't there are of his own making.

2 cruciate injuries hardly his own fault. Hes the onky rolls Royce we have. James McCarthy ffs he's pulled out more times than jordans boyfriend.
